My Story

To say that Travis dreams, lives and risks big, might just be an understatement of epic proportions. If he can dream it, don’t get in his way, because you can be damn sure he is going to live it.

Travis first jumped on a dirt bike at the age of 4, and began dreaming of a career as a professional motocross racer, which he accomplished at the age of 18. During this time he also earned himself a cumulative 1 full year in the hospital, 39 broken bones, 19 surgeries, and has had to be brought back to life, not once, but twice. 

With the birth of his first daughter, he decided to play life a little safer and settled into the routine of a 9-5, but quickly learned that wasn’t for him. In 2020 Travis redirected his enthusiasm to live big into something a little less life threatening than Motocross, but some could argue, just as risky; business. Silkstone Group was born.

In his spare time you can find Travis sharing his love for dirt bikes, snowmobiles and anything else with an engine, with his three biggest accomplishments; his daughters, Charlie, Frankie and Letty, and his wife Becky.
